I was briefly Weekend and Late News Editor for NBC News in London for four months in 2022.

 

In my role, I steered foreign news coverage of NBCNews.com during overnight US time on weekends, as well as editing reporters' articles and pulling Reuters and Associated Press wire copy for the World Desk on weekdays.

One of my pieces, a long form feature on missile systems sent to Ukraine by other countries, led to the US government making a U-turn on its briefing policies and deciding to come clean about the exact types of long-range weapons being sent, less than two weeks after the publication of my article.
